another week of cuteness

where do i begin? let’s start with good news. Velvet’s sister, Pepper, has reluctantly decided to tolerate our orphans along with her own litter. that makes seven kids for poor Pepper to look after, and we are definitely giving her extra food, treats, and milk.
the orphaned litter is thriving, and there are already changes apparent although it’s only been a week.
Saber’s eyes are already almost rid of blue-ness (i rather like this shot), and Bell is also displaying some color change.
Pepper has four kittens of her own, but there are only two that we’ve tamed so far. here’s one we haven’t really named, but i’ve just been calling ‘the blue one.’ (we told mom she could name it, and so far it is “Magic, no Echo, no Stormy, no Cloud, no Drake, no Nimbus.”)
the blue kitten does enjoy playing with the older kittens. he’s also very snuggly to us
this is Panda. she is shy, so it is hard to get good pictures of her.

i’d really love to take Bell with me when i move in a few weeks, since she’s pretty much a sweetie, but vet checkups are a bit more than my budget can afford. :(
